Soundset Returns For It’s 11th Year & Possibly It’s 11th Hour

For the eleventh straight year, Memorial Day weekend continues to provide a party for the people to remember for the Soundset Festival taking place on Sunday, May 27th at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.

Orchestrated by Rhymesayers Entertainment, the all-day all-ages event will play host to all the facets of the culture while providing a one of a kind concert experience for fans from far and wide. Complete with headliners such as Logic, Migos, Erykah Badu, Tyler, The Creator, Russ and the Wu-Tang Clan (who will be celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their iconic debut Enter the Wu-Tang: the 36 Chambers), Atmosphere and the RSE family will revel in a remarkable year for releases from Evidence, Grieves and the upcoming release of Prof’s new album, Pookie Baby. Alongside live graffiti painting, the La Familia skate ramps, the breaker battles and Last of The Record Buyers Production Showcase, the multi-staged festival will also allow local representatives such as The Lioness, OG Grip, Willie Wonka, DJ Rowsheen, Mike 2600 and Sick Trim (Doomtree’s Lazerbeak and Paper Tiger) to opportunity to branch out and present a taste of the Twin Cities for the world. Despite it’s growing popularity and admiration from legends like Sway Calloway, it has been rumored that this may prove to be the last year of the celebration but with tickets selling out within previous years, we hope that it falls on deaf ears.

Tickets are on sale now at their website or in-store at Fifth Element. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates and interviews from performers and personnel.
