Shrimpnose Steps Out In His Solo EP “Not Really”

Between producing for countless voices within the Minnesota Hip Hop community & organizing the beloved “Best Damn Beat Battles,” Minneapolis producer Shrimpnose has found time to expand your mind through his latest solo project, Not Really.

With a rich complexity between galvanizing glitches, spacey synths and endearing samples that seem to melt into the sonic concoctions, the CRAM producer successfully ventures to define the human condition through the peculiar warmth of analog encryption. Add in help from the likes of Jaylap, Nazeem & aYm, Shrimpnose continues to shape a new wave of beat composition for a new class of producers.

To celebrate his Rootnote Collective EP, Shrimp will put the craft on display Tuesday, March 21st for the official Not Really EP Release Party at Honey Nightclub. Along with his live production set, he will be joined by NRMN, Talia Knight, ALAJANDRA, Phib, Dreamcasts, Blamsiss & K. Raydio hosting throughout the night.

Check out Not Really above & stop out to Honey Tuesday, March 21st to experience it live. Doors at 9pm and $5 cover.
